Highlights
The State Street investor confidence index fell to 87.0 in July from 97.7 in June. The report attributed the decline to "conflicting signals" in corporate earnings as well as expectations for tighter monetary policy. Weakness was centered in North America and Europe with confidence in Asia remaining firm.
